Serena & Lily had their 1st annual Holiday House this year. They chose 16 designers to decorate parts of their stores around the country.
LH.Designs was tasked with the Pacific Palisades store. We decided that we wanted to show that Cali indoor/outdoor living, so took on the task of their outdoor courtyard area and the front interior of their store.
We designed and created the two awnings to match the look of the store. This helped to create an atmosphere outside that would feel like it's own dining and living spaces. Then we connected the interior space with a similar color palette of blue, green, persimmons and mustard. This along with the natural holiday décor chosen, helped to create a warm and inviting holiday feel for the season.
Our inspiration for the space derived from the movie "The Holiday." We loved how the locations of Los Angeles and the countryside of England made us feeling cozy and inviting in two totally different places in the world. We wanted people to take about the same feeling with our Serena & Lily spaces. You could incorporate these looks anywhere in the world during any holiday.
