The Cornell Inn in Lenox, Massachusetts teamed with 22 BIOPIC Designers. LH.Designs got to high-light some of our traditional style by re-designing one of the rooms in the bed & breakfast.

 

We wanted to keep to the character of the quaint, charming space but bring some modern design with fresh colors to the room. Our design firm brought in some architectural elements by adding in bead boarding all around the room and putting in a new fireplace. Our design choices stemmed from this beautiful wallpaper we picked out for the space. We used black and rich colors such as berry and forest greens to keep with a moody traditional space. Then we paired those hues with pops of colors such, as yellow, pink and light blues to give it a granny chic, fun vibe.

We re-imagined the room, including the bathroom, in a romantic contemporary way with new plumbing fixtures, furniture, modern lighting, bedding, artwork, wallpaper, hardware, paint, accessories, drapery we custom designed and accents that would keep with the east coast tradition of this boutique hotel.
